Building Responsive Websites

This web development course is designed to help each participant to understand the workings of World Wide Web, how they are built, how do browsers communicate with the computer, how the mobile devices interact with the web and how it can be used to their advantage having the background that the web is a very big place. This course examines what skills are needed to build a website knowing that almost 1 billion websites are on the Internet. At the end of the course, each participant will be able to describe the structure and functionality of the World Wide Web, create dynamic web pages using a mixture of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Boot Strap. Participants will be able to apply essential programming language concepts when creating HTML forms with validation, use bootstraps to create a good-looking responsive layout, use JavaScript functions and understand scope and higher order functions. In conclusion, participants will be able to create a good working model for personal or business websites in the future.
